The WLAN Test Kit lets you empirically measure the ra-
dio field distribution in your premises before you install
a wireless LAN. You can mount an access point on the
tripod included and position it at the future installation
point, up to a height of about 3.8 meters. The access
point can be powered by batteries built into the test kit
case. The robust trolley case holds all the components
needed for WLAN tests and measurements, including
antennas, cables, an access point, a notebook, power
supplies, and the necessary WLAN signal measuring
adapters. The electronic distance meter helps you
measure ceiling heights and wall distances for exact
planning instructions. The WLAN Test Kit is intended
for all WLAN system technicians who leave nothing to
chance in building WLAN installations.
