The LanMaster 26 and 30 detect in just
seconds whether a LAN socket is active,
and what signals it carries.
The LanMaster 26 performs a link test, checking
for gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-TX), Fast Ethernet
(100BASE-TX) and standard Ethernet (10BASE-T), and
measures voltage to test for PoE. This makes it easy to
detect faults in the network or half-duplex modes
due to faulty auto-sensing. The testers can also
make the port LED on the hub or switch blink
to identify the corresponding port quickly.
In addition, the LanMaster 30 identifies the
following services: Analog telephony, ISDN,
PBX, 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet, Token Ring. PCs
and network adapters can be damaged by
being connected to an active jack carrying
the wrong service.
The LanMaster 30 protects you against
incompatible voltage or load independant
currents that could destroy your network
adapters.
